After going through chemo, the Multiple Myeloma was pushed back to a point where I could get off of chemo for about a year and a half. At this time, they are needing me to start treatment again. A new treatment has been approved called Car-T Cell Therapy and I have just been approved for that. This treatment costs about one million dollars. So far, we don’t know how much of that will be covered by insurance. It saddens me to think that we live in a society where people live and die according to how much money they have. How can there be treatment available to cure people, but only certain people can receive that treatment because of the cost? If the treatment is available, shouldn’t everyone have access to that? Why is medical treatment withheld from the poor? Why do poor people get lower quality of treatment? In my Vision, everyone would receive the best medical treatment, regardless of their income. Until my mission is fulfilled, I will use the contributions and donations of this single to continue to spread life, love, and music to anyone who cares to listen. I pray it will touch the souls of the cold-hearted, enlighten the minds of the content, and plant seeds of positivity that sprout into a new way of life for us all.I believe everyone on this Earth is family, brothers and sisters.
